This is a good way of getting your customer excited about their purchase, answering their most basic question: what size do I get for my money and what does that size look like?  We, in the trade, know how big a 1/4 carat or 1/2 carat diamond is, but most people have no idea, and taking a random selection from your display will merely confuse them.
